I did the accelerated GMAT course with Emily Sledge. If you're able to spend money on a class, this one is definitely worth the investment.
After the class ends, you receive a personalized practice plan. This was very valuable because it helped me stay accountable and focus well during crunch time. Emily was always accessible by email and helped me after the course finished when I was hitting a quant roadblock.
The online format is pretty similar to a live classroom, and the practice tests are just like the real test setup (I personally thought the practice test quant sections were harder than test day).
I also liked how the course included strategies for staying calm because the GMAT is a mentally tough exam.

Hi everyone, I took a 9-session online class with MHPrep. Before I started my lessons, I had a 710 on the official practice tests and the classes, the recommended practice problems and the MHPrep practice tests helped me reach my target score of 760. Emily and Greg were my instructors and they really really know what they are doing :)
As a non-native speaker, I found the Verbal lessons very effective. The online tools that lets you filter for difficulty were also very useful as I worked on improving the scores.
I found the math sections in the practice tests a bit too intense though. It definitely helped make the actual test feel like a breeze.
I would highly recommend the online 9-week Manhattan GMAT Prep Course. First, there were multiple time/day slots to fit my schedule. Second, the classes were extremely well run. It was run by 2 instructors - one was leading the class the other managing the forum and answering questions in the side bar. It was super effective. The class was extremely interactive. I was worried it would not be interactive and I'd get distracted to do other things. However, you couldn't take a break just like a real in-person class - you were engaged in classes, quizzes, etc. Also, I appreciated the focus on strategies and not just content. I tried the picking up a book and studying on my own. But it didn't get me very far. I cracked over 700 with the help of Manhattan GMAT's classes and strategy help.
I had never taken the GMAT before I took the Live Online course from Manhattan GMAT but my score from my practice test went to my actual GMAT went up 130 points.
The course provides great structure each week with a ton of problems/strategy guides to work through. There is a lot of homework each week but I don't really see how you could do well on the GMAT without doing a lot of problems and taking the time to really learn the math concepts. You will never run out of material from Manhattan to do, there are tons of problems provided and CAT practice tests. The problems provided all seem pretty similar to the actual questions on the test. The strategy guides are great at explaining concepts, especially sentence correction and quant.
One of the best things about the course is OG Archer which lets you track every OG problem you do. This makes it so easy to verify strengths and weaknesses so you can use your study time better. The CAT exams also have great stats on how you did and you can aggregate your data for multiple exams to get a good understanding of where you stand.
The classes themselves were basically just going through the material you did for homework and providing a few extra tips and strategy clarifications. I felt it mostly just keep me honest about getting all the homework done and served as reassurance each week that I was on the right track. The instructors were great and I assume all Manhattan's instructors probably are. They were always available outside of class to answer any extra questions.
Would definitely recommend this course. Great structure for your GMAT studying and provides all the materials/books you could possibly need.
